Ted Wilkins is a visual artist living on the south shore of Nova Scotia where inspiration abounds.

“I love to paint outdoors whenever possible. The interplay of light and shadow intrigues me, and is found in most of my work. While oils are my preferred medium, I also sketch with pencil, ink, and watercolour. My early creative expression was in soapstone and wood sculpting. While I am mostly a self taught painter, I have been fortunateto attend workshops given by several accomplished artists, including Tim McGuire, Marc Grandbois, Doug Swinton, Sue Contini, and Vicky Lentz”
